These are going to be your very first NPC enemies, peeps.

DOMINION/RECONSTRUCTIONISTS/OVERVIEW
The Reconstructionists
Similar in many respects to refugees, at least in terms of financial and militaristic status, the Reconstructionists were the dominant faction on Chau Sara prior to the arrival of the Oralis Syndicate. Although they are often likened to outcasts, they are by no means looked down upon as second-class by the Dominion society. Hailed as courageous explorers by the expansionist propaganda of the Terran Dominion, a somewhat accurate description, the Reconstructionist’s agenda is the recolonization and rehabilitation of fringe world colonies that were “purified” during the Protoss’ first attempt at exterminating the Zerg.
Technologically no more advanced than the original fringe world yokels, the Reconstructionists are a bright-eyed and eager group. Determined to rebuild the fringe colonies and believing their own propaganda, they were quick to begin the exciting process of colonization, with many people enjoying themselves with scavenging, naming locations, and organizing themselves into “cities.”
However, their expansionist ideas quickly ground to a halt once they encountered the Zerg “Pillagers.” Although they were prepared for at least a small number of Zerg, the Pillager’s purposeful hit-and-run attacks were nothing like they were expecting. Morale, as high as it had been, fell quickly. Soon enough, the Reconstructionists were engaged in full guerilla warfare against an opponent that had never known defeat.

DOMINION/RECONSTRUCTIONISTS/KNOWN CIVILIAN AND MILITARY DEPLOYMENTS
Upon landing on Chau Sara, the Reconstructionists quickly made their mark. Of an expedition of scarcely 2.5 thousand civilian colonists, they founded two “cities.” Choosing to build their own instead of reoccupying established urban areas, the Reconstructionists created two sister cities, with the official “capital” of Collinsburg (named after the ill-fated but well-loved Magistrate Collins) with about one and a half thousand citizens, and the city of El Dorado, merely fifty miles south, with a population of about three-quarters of a thousand. The remainder of the population have established hamlets or are free roaming.
As for military deployments, both Collinsburg and El Dorado have significant troop deployments, with armor, aircraft and infantry. The majority of the Reconstructionists’ “fleet” was composed of land-once colony ships and freighters, which were converted into fortifications or habitations upon landing. Only three spaceworthy ships remain, one minimally armed freighter, one unarmed mining/support craft, and one reconfigured freighter “warship,” all of which are held at the Collinsburg starport.
DOMINION/RECONSTRUCTIONISTS/MILITARY/PROSPECTOR CORPS
Reconstructionist Prospector
The Prospector Corps are the main expeditionary/military force backing the Reconstructionists. Composed equal parts of restless and reckless young colonists from simple, agricultural worlds looking for adventure and space of their own, and of seasoned veterans who are both sick of fighting yet leery of the rest of Dominion rule, the Prospectors are a loosely armed and armored group. However, they are a very spirited group, willing as they are to fight for what they have built.

Standard Armament:
Confederate Munitions Company 2498-Anti-Personnel Infantry Gauss Rifle (CMC/2498-API-Rifle)
Overview: Standard-issue Gauss Rifle, staple of the Great and Brood Wars as both a Confederate, Dominion and rebel weapon. Dangerous to infantry, vehicles, and in large numbers, aircraft.
Known Secondary Armaments:
Confederate Munitions Company 2497-Anti-Personnel/Armor Vehicular/Infantry Fragmentation Grenade (CMC/2497-APVI Frag Grenade) (colloquially known as the Vulture Grenade)
Overview: Standard-issue hand or vehicle explosive ordnance, staple of the Great and Brood Wars as an almost universal Terran weapon. Highly dangerous to even armored infantry; a significant threat to armor.
Korhal Civilian Armaments Commission Model-006 Anti-Personnel Civilian Sidearm/Pistol (KCAC/M-006 APC Pistol)
Overview: An irregular Dominion “civilian” armament, cheap, weak, and with poor ammunition capacity. Of almost no danger whatsoever to armored infantry.
Reconstructionist Condor
The “Condor” is one of the key peculiarities that arose from the transition from Confederate, to rebel, to Dominion control. A Condor is nothing more than a Vulture that was stripped down and converted to a civilian scout bike, and then rearmed and converted back to a combat vehicle. The end result is a wad of inefficiencies, vulnerable circuitry, crude hacks and general multipurpose inability. As the Condor has had its grenade launcher removed for civilian use, drivers have to hurl their grenades by hand. The original docking port underneath the bike used for Spider Mines has been removed once for civilian use, and then been replaced by another stabilizer engine. The myriad of speed enhancers now serve as less of an extra propulsion system and now more as a prosthetic engine.
However, Condors are well-loved by their drivers, who have lived by them as much as a Marine lives by his rifle. Condors often sport lovingly painted decals, slight enhancements and multiple auxiliaries and redundancies. This has, in effect, lessened the traumatic double transition the bike has had, and enabled it to serve at least some military capacity.
