Oralis Syndicate Ranks
The Oralis Syndicate is based loosely off corporate ranks and paramilitary organizations. Although they use strange terminology, the Syndicate is by all means now a military group, and the claims made by its “management” are little more than a fiction.
Chief Executive Officer: While the position of CEO is well known amongst financial companies, in the Oralis Syndicate it designates the highest, almost despotic rank. CEOs are a rank and unit in and of themselves, and are, except in the strangest of circumstances, plot NPCs.
Security Administrator: The “SecAdmin” is the equivalent of a high ranking general, often a personal advisor or secondary to the CEO. Similar to their superiors, SecAdmins are most likely to remain plot NPCs until further notice.
Security Chief: The rank of “Security Chief” (or “SecChief” for short) designates a position similar to a colonel. The SecChiefs are going to be the highest conventionally ranked player character. Notable playable units include:
(unfinished)
Assistant Security Chief: These individuals have avoided the nickname “AssChief” (although the infantry still use this term to derogatorily refer to these individuals) by simply being officers to be compared to a Captain of any other military. Notable playable units include:
(unfinished)
Securitor/Chief Securitor: The peculiar ranks of “Securitor” and “Chief Securitor” are used only by the Incendiary Corps. The rank “Securitor” is the equivalent to a Corporal (although all Incendiaries are Securitors at least) and the rank “Chief Securitor” is equivalent to a Sergeant, leading groups of a dozen Securitors behind them. Notable playable units include:
*Incendiary
Security Guard: This rank has a series of sub-ranks, with "Junior", "Senior", and "Chief" mixed in among them. The end result is a platoon-esque table of organization that leaves about a dozen soldiers placed under the command of a Sergeant-equivalent (often actually referred to as Sergeants) who are then held accountable to a Lieutenant-equivalent. In fact, at this level of organization, normal military ranks are used unofficially but ubiquitously. The first recognized "corporate" rank is the Assistant Security Chief. Notable playable units include:
*Vulture
*Enforcer
